In 2006, Ferrari created the Ferrari Classiche program to protect the heritage that Ferrari cars represent. The Classiche team at Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale has the expertise necessary to handle complex restorations of these beautiful automotive masterpieces. Ferrari Classiche also provides the assistance and support needed to deal both with the various stages of maintenance and the normal use of these cars.

The Ferrari Classiche Certification Process

  1. Inspection of Ferrari Vehicle at a Select Ferrari Workshop such as Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale
  2. Client receives Certificate of Authenticity in the Ferrari Red Book from Maranello
  3. Client may begin restoration of vehicle at a Classiche Workshop

Who Is Eligible for Ferrari Classiche Certification?

All Ferrari road cars over 20 years old. It is also available for Ferrari F1, limited series Sports Cars and Sport-Prototypes, with no restrictions on the age of the car. To be certified and eligible for the program cars must follow all Ferrari Classiche Requirements.

Ferrari Classiche Inspection Requirements

  1. Vehicle must be fully functioning
  2. All parts must be original OEM parts
  3. Vehicle must complete a multi-point inspection by Ferrari Classiche experts
  4. Vehicle must be at least 20 years old OR a limited series model

WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE INSPECTION PROCESS?

Ferrari Classiche Experts will confirm that the following are authentic and properly functioning:

  • Chasis
  • Engine
  • Gearbox/Transmission
  • Suspension, Brakes, and Wheels
  • Bodywork
  • Interior

Ferrari Classiche certification formally recognizes a vehicle’s authenticity and historical alignment with Ferrari’s original engineering intent. Through factory verification and archival documentation, the program protects provenance, collector confidence, and the long-term preservation of historic Ferrari vehicles.
